Neurological surgery or “Neurosurgery” is the surgical specialty concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with injury to, and diseases of, the brain, spine, or peripheral nerves. As more than just “brain surgeons”, neurosurgeons may provide either surgical or non-surgical care for a variety of disorders.
