Dr. Manish Singh is a board-certified neurosurgeon who joined Southern Brain & Spine in 2018. He completed his residency in Neurosurgery at Tulane University in New Orleans. Following his training in Neurosurgery, Dr. Singh completed a fellowship in Complex Spine Surgery/Adult Spine Deformities at the University of Virginia, training under the world-renowned spine surgeon, Dr. Christopher Shaffrey.
After completing his fellowship, Dr. Singh returned to New Orleans and became an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Tulane Medical Center. He also served as co-director of the Tulane Spine Center. During his time at Tulane, he was actively involved in clinical activities as well as training residents. He has authored and co-authored many articles in several medical publications and is a member of multiple national and state medical societies including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Medical Association, and Louisiana Neurosurgical Society, and he is a diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Singh is also a recipient of the prestigious Castle Connolly Top Doctor award, as well as having been featured in Louisiana Life Magazine and New Orleans Magazine.
Dr. Singh is an expert in Neurosurgery with special emphasis on complex spine surgery, revision spine surgery, and minimally invasive spine surgery. His clinical interests include minimally invasive spine surgery, adult spine deformity correction, spine tumors, spine trauma, peripheral nerve disorders, and general Neurosurgery. He prides himself in providing excellent and passionate care to all of his patients.
